Pair of Vintage Chinese Sketches

These vintage Chinese sketches are matted & framed in sky blue to contrast with the cherry red wallpaper by Thibaut Designs. The lovely gauzey sheers are hand-embroidered to complement my client's color scheme and provide a modicum of privacy when closed even if it's just for the birds since this is a few stories above the ground.

Classic Meets Modern!

Classic Meets Modern in this upscale Morristown condominium which has evolved over time from previous incarnatons of furnishings. Antique wing chairs are paired with a very modern brushed aluminum occasional table & antique Gustavian arms chairs pair sucessfully with an Indonesian suar wood table. I designed two custom rugs in cream, cerulean blue and cherry red to reflect the color scheme and fit the space like no store bought rug could ever do. A pair of vimtage Chinese etchings contrast with the walls. More detail can be seen in the next photo.

Christopher Noto blemds East with West

Christopher Noto successfully blends eastern & western influences together in his Parisian pied-a-terre. Elements of asian culture from his years living in Singapore are reflected in the furnishings while the architectural elements and bespoke draperies are reminiscent of the classic 18th century salons of France.

This note was sent to me by one of my dearly valued clients! Her son was getting married in two weeks and she needed to bring the rooms up to date. We began by de-cluttering and removing everything from the rooms! 25 years of things were either sold, put away or thrown out. New window treatments and fresh paint with a few well selected accessories and we were ready for a wedding!

The flowing sheers soften the intricate pattern of this black and white wallpaper and visually give your eyes a place to rest as does the white sofa. By repeating the pattern in Roman pullup shades, it lends continuity to the wall. The sleek ottoman does double duty as a footstool and coffee table. The green accents "pop" in this modern scheme. This Houston townhome has 14' ceilings and Palladian Arch French Doors dressed with simple charmeuse draperies in aubergine juxtaposed with the Art Nouveau style snow white sofa and chairs. The clean lines of the mirrored chest of drawers and nickel & mirror coffee table lends 1940's Hollywood flair to the old world charm of the ornate 19th century chandelier which once graced a castle in Venice. Mixing up the old with the new is refreshing and exciting!
