A Touch Of Glam!

A touch of glam in this Osborne & Little collection for contract and domestic use. Named for the Italian commedia dell’arte, such as Colombina, the color schemes are plum, bronze, aqua, champagne & lime. New for Fall 2009!

Pair of Vintage Chinese Sketches

These vintage Chinese sketches are matted & framed in sky blue to contrast with the cherry red wallpaper by Thibaut Designs. The lovely gauzey sheers are hand-embroidered to complement my client's color scheme and provide a modicum of privacy when closed even if it's just for the birds since this is a few stories above the ground.

Classic Meets Modern!

Classic Meets Modern in this upscale Morristown condominium which has evolved over time from previous incarnatons of furnishings. Antique wing chairs are paired with a very modern brushed aluminum occasional table & antique Gustavian arms chairs pair sucessfully with an Indonesian suar wood table. I designed two custom rugs in cream, cerulean blue and cherry red to reflect the color scheme and fit the space like no store bought rug could ever do. A pair of vimtage Chinese etchings contrast with the walls. More detail can be seen in the next photo.

Christopher Noto blemds East with West

Christopher Noto successfully blends eastern & western influences together in his Parisian pied-a-terre. Elements of asian culture from his years living in Singapore are reflected in the furnishings while the architectural elements and bespoke draperies are reminiscent of the classic 18th century salons of France.

Achieving High Style with Color & Design!

This beautifully appointed room designed by Thomas Britt achieves a beautiful balance of color, scale, antiques and artwork!

Raindrops in Natural Silver

This metallic handembroidered on linen fabric is stunning! I will be happy to bring a panel sized memo of this beauty right to your home or office at your convenience. When my Lee Jofa representative Suzanne Welle brought this over yesterday I thought it was perfect for a touch of glam to add to your windows! I have a certain doctor friend in mind who will love this for her newly renovated home.

David Hicks for Lee Jofa

David Hicks created Kyoto Shrine in True Blue~now that's a great fabric to be paired with greys, silvers and platinum!

This creative designer for Lee Jofa creates a big graphics splash! Based upon the Chinese fretwork motif in bold black & white suitable for draperies and modern or antique furniture! Even bedding!

Fall Trends 2009

These colorful hand-embroidered designs on linen cloth are more vivid & breathtaking in person! Lee Jofa's Soprano collection from Mulberry Home makes a beautiful statement on this sofa, n'est ce pas?

Client Testimonials!

This note was sent to me by one of my dearly valued clients! Her son was getting married in two weeks and she needed to bring the rooms up to date. We began by de-cluttering and removing everything from the rooms! 25 years of things were either sold, put away or thrown out. New window treatments and fresh paint with a few well selected accessories and we were ready for a wedding!

Kid Friendly but Elegant!

This living room features the tones of the sky & earth and the furnishings are child-friendly; the brass oval shaped coffee table and curvy chairs attest to it. Fabrics are soft and touchable~satin, suede and velvet. The shapely mirror & plush sofa cushions speak casual elegance. The woven woods shades and casual silk stripe draperies can be drawn for privacy.

Bachelor's Pad

This bachelor's pad blends an antique Beidermeier chest, Korean gristmill used as a coffee table, and a modern curved sectional circa 1960's with an abstract painting by David Bierk. An antique bust of Hercules and a Dale Chihuly glass sculpture round out the objets d'art! Comfy, bien n'est-ce pas?

White Room Glam!

This Houston townhome has 14' ceilings and Palladian Arch French Doors dressed with simple charmeuse draperies in aubergine juxtaposed with the Art Nouveau style snow white sofa and chairs. The clean lines of the mirrored chest of drawers and nickel & mirror coffee table lends 1940's Hollywood flair to the old world charm of the ornate 19th century chandelier which once graced a castle in Venice. Mixing up the old with the new is refreshing and exciting!

A Designers Touch of Elegance!

This warm and inviting Master Bedroom Suite is elegant and sophisticated with its curved sofa, tufted headboard and the lit a' la turque (small canopy over the bed) adapted from the Rococo/Palladian Revival period in 18th century Europe. Having a beautifully dressed bed was the ultimate status symbol because prior to this time woven fabric was only for the royals! These natural yet simple fabrics are blended silk/wool and cotton/rayon velvets in a neutral color scheme to promote relaxation. Dream away those winter blues!

The Style of Euro Hotels~the Comfort of Home!

This guest bath features bronze and platinum metallic strie' wallcovering and a custom~made shower curtain in fretwork pattern that not only looks stylish but is also stain repellant and mold and mildew resistant~perfect for bathrooms. It's actually indoor/outdoor fabric and can be used on chaise cushions outdoors and will not fade the color. The copper and mirrored artifact represents the hieroglyphs found in ancient Colorado caves.

Afternoon Chai Tea Anyone?

Beckoning you to relax and enjoy a chai tea! This metallic wallcovering is $80 per roll and can be drop-shipped virtually anywhere in the world! How cheerfully pleasant this room setting is with the warmth of fuschia and chartreuse pillows on the chocolate sofa. A touch of glam completes this look!

Metallicize!

Metallicize your walls with this jacquard velvet wallcovering in lime green and violet from the U.K. offered at $72 per roll for the paper and $178 per yard for the fabric. This will definitely lift your spirits!

Fresh and Inviting!

Isn't this fresh and inviting? Who wouldn't want to come home to this? Bed-in anyone?
