Vincent Van Gogh painted this to honor the birth of his nephew~almond branches to symbolize new life. The deep turquoise blue in the background inspired the idea that this would make a gorgeous rug/tapestry in an ivory painted room with spring green upholstered furniture or duvet. Luv the depth of the clear turquoise colors reminiscent of the Carribean waters.
