Here are two more views of the renovated Pennington family room of a retired surgeon and his wife. They raised their 4 children in this house and now have 5 grandchildren who play in this room so I suggested a leather sofa for easy maintenance. Joe likes to read so I got him a handsome recliner with a textured woven leaf pattern to compliment the Tufenkian Tibetan carpet. I hired local cabinetmakers to fabricate the corner media armoire and built-in shelving units that flank the sofa. Hunter-Douglas Silhouettes were specified for light control and privacy.
